Job Summary

We are seeking a talented IT Field Specialist to join our team. As an IT Field Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing application solutions, creating technical documentation, and resolving application issues.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Application Development
  • Design, code, test, and deploy new applications or enhancements to existing ones.
Technical Documentation
  • Create clear and comprehensive documentation, including user guides, system specifications, and troubleshooting guides.
Problem Resolution
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues reported by users or identified through testing.
System Integration
  • Ensure seamless integration of new or modified applications with existing systems and infrastructure.
Performance Optimization
  • Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
Project Management
  • Create and manage project plans, including defining project scope, tasks, dependencies, and timelines.
Progress Reporting
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders, including identifying and mitigating risks.
Client Communication
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing and Quality Assurance
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure applications meet requirements and quality standards.
User Training
  • Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively use the application.
Client Satisfaction
  • Ensure client satisfaction by meeting their needs and expectations throughout the project and beyond.
Research and Development
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
Knowledge Sharing
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  1. Academic Qualifications
  • A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
  • Significant experience in application development, support, or a related field.
Technical Skills
  • Demonstrated experience with programming languages, software development tools, and relevant technologies.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

What We Offer

The base pay range for this position in Canada is $75k-$113k / year + bonus. The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills.
