About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting daily banking, cash management, and forecasting treasury activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Treasury Manager in implementing and managing new Treasury Management Systems, preparing and analyzing cash forecasts, administering banking activities, and executing cash management activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation and management of new Treasury Management Systems
  • Prepare and analyze cash forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning
  • Administer banking activities, including opening bank accounts, setting up and managing users, and KYC requests
  • Execute cash management activities, such as wires and transfers
  • Assist with the preparation of various accounts receivable securitization reports
  • Develop periodic journal entries for banking activities
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of bank account documentation
  • Update treasury policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist with quarterly internal compliance requirements
  • Support various banking projects and initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Interest in pursuing a professional designation, such as CPA, CFA, or CTP
  • Experience with treasury systems is an asset
