Treasury Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting daily banking, cash management, and forecasting treasury activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the implementation and management of our Treasury Management System (TMS)
- Assist with treasury-related preparations for the carve-out of our pork business
- Prepare and analyze cash forecasts on a daily basis
- Administer banking activities for all operating units, including opening bank accounts, setting up and managing users, and handling KYC requests
- Support the execution of cash management activities, such as wires and transfers
- Assist with the preparation of various accounts receivable securitization reports
- Develop periodic journal entries for banking activities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of bank account documentation
- Update treasury policies
- Assist with quarterly internal compliance requirements
- Assist with annual budget activities
- Support various banking projects and initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Understanding of basic accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Interest in pursuing a professional designation, such as CPA, CFA, or CTP
- Experience with treasury systems is an asset
