The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supporting daily banking, cash management, and forecasting treasury activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and management of our Treasury Management System (TMS)
  • Assist with treasury-related preparations for the carve-out of our pork business
  • Prepare and analyze cash forecasts on a daily basis
  • Administer banking activities for all operating units, including opening bank accounts, setting up and managing users, and handling KYC requests
  • Support the execution of cash management activities, such as wires and transfers
  • Assist with the preparation of various accounts receivable securitization reports
  • Develop periodic journal entries for banking activities
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of bank account documentation
  • Update treasury policies
  • Assist with quarterly internal compliance requirements
  • Assist with annual budget activities
  • Support various banking projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Interest in pursuing a professional designation, such as CPA or CFA
  • Experience with treasury systems is an asset
