Job Summary:
As a Pharmacy Technician with Alberta Health Services, you will play a vital role in the preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products. Your responsibilities will include receiving and triaging medication orders, compounding and repackaging medication, and preparing sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and triage medication orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Compound and repackage medication according to established protocols
- Prepare sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical products for distribution
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient medication management
Requirements:
- Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program
- Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
