We work closely with our home operator partners to promote resident health, staff education, and medication system quality and efficiency.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of prescriptions
  • Participate in a team-based workflow environment and contribute to the quality assurance team
  • Confirm the accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for delivery
  • Accept verbal prescriptions from prescribing authorities
  • Perform the final check of prepared prescriptions

What You Bring to the Team

  • Current registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
  • Experience working as a Registered Pharmacy Technician is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems in a long-term care setting is a strong asset
  • Retail/Community/Long Term Care Pharmacy experience is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated computer or word processing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage priorities in a time-sensitive environment; possesses strong organizational skills
  • Ability to benefit from coaching and instruction for quality processes; comfort with and accepting of constructive feedback
