Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Dispensing: Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
- Inventory Management: Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs.
- Patient Counseling: Counsel patients in regards to new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive interaction.
- Public Relations: Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.).
- Customer Service: Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues.
- Cost Control: Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs).
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and registered in good standing with ACP.
- Additional Prescribing Authority (APA): Must have APA.
- Skills: Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism. Excellent leadership and performance management skills required. Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills, including the experience formulating and executing action plans. Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy Computer system is essential.
