Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Operations Associate to join our team at our Wine, Spirits, and Beer location in Big River, Saskatchewan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and efficient store environment, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legendary service through various touch points and communication channels
  • Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility
  • Maintain a clean and well-merchandised area, including dusting displays, washing shelves and bottles, sweeping, mopping, and exterior cleaning as needed
  • Suggestively sell add-on products in addition to liquor, including confectionary, fresh foods, and hardware
  • Stock, arrange, and rotate liquor merchandise on shelves, stock beer coolers, and set up displays
  • Operate electronic cash registers and other electronic devices, processing sales and receiving merchandise as required
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, as well as asset protection responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Liquor industry and retail sales experience, especially in the CRS, considered an asset
  • Serve it Right Certificate considered an asset, but training will be provided to the successful applicant
  • Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work you do
  • Well-organized, capable of attaining a high level of production with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift and load products, with extensive physical labor required
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekend and evening work
