About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at DENA GENERAL STORE. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Suggestive Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to customers, increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 36 to 40 hours per week.
