AppleOne is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Supervisor to join their team in Burnaby, BC. This is a temporary position with a possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee a small team responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the Home Office and other sites.
- Provide first-level support for office facility technology and systems at Home Office and satellite locations.
- Manage procurement administration for assigned services.
- Assist with scheduling, covering shifts for lunch breaks.
- Support the documentation and structure of newly forming manuals.
- Complete supervisor tasks via SDR.
- Approve procurement requests.
- Act as a gatekeeper for the team, ensuring all inquiries are handled.
- Support in-person and phone escalations.
- Liaise with different departments to assist with facility needs.
- Assist with fleet management, including company vehicles.
- 3+ years of office administration experience.
- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- Professional with excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Diploma in commerce or business administration or relevant field.
- Considerable experience in managing administration activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of managing an office for a senior executive.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, time management, and expediting skills.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- Experience with scheduling and calendar management, as well as administrative support.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters, as well as external stakeholders, with tact.
- Experience in the public sector or government.
- Customer service background.
- Reception or switchboard experience.
