About the Role

RMHC Atlantic is seeking a dynamic Philanthropic Fundraising Manager to lead our revenue development efforts and support our mission of keeping families together when they need medical treatment. As a key member of our team, you will develop and execute strategies for major and planned giving initiatives, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Main Responsibilities

1. Major Gifts
Develop personalized cultivation plans to nurture relationships with major donor prospects and solicit gifts through strategic outreach and stewardship.
Manage a portfolio of high-potential donors, focusing on gifts of $25,000 or more.
2. Planned Giving
Implement strategies to cultivate and solicit planned gifts from donors interested in making legacy commitments to RMHC Atlantic.
Identify and steward prospective planned giving donors, providing tailored support and guidance throughout the gift planning process.
3. Donor Cultivation and Stewardship
Build strong relationships with existing major donors, ensuring continued engagement and support.
Develop customized stewardship plans to recognize donors' contributions and keep them informed about the impact of their gifts.
4. Prospect Research and Pipeline Management
Conduct research to identify potential major gift donors, utilizing donor databases and other resources.
Manage and track donor interactions and moves through a comprehensive tracking system.
5. Collaboration and Integration
Work collaboratively with the CEO, Development Team, and Board of Directors to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities and goals.
Coordinate with other fundraising initiatives to maximize donor engagement and revenue generation.
6. Reporting and Analysis
Provide regular reports on fundraising activities, including progress toward goals, donor engagement metrics, and revenue projections.
Evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in major gift fundraising, with a proven track record of securing significant gifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with donors and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to the mission and values of RMHC Atlantic and the families we serve.

Benefits

The successful candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary range of $60,000 – $81,000, commensurate with experience.
