The Role

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storeroom Clerk to join our Purchasing Department at our Toronto location. As a Storeroom Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting goods, checking orders against delivery invoices, and issuing food, beverage, and non-food items to various departments within the hotel.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventories of food, beverage, groceries, and sundries.
  2. Inspect all goods at delivery entrance to ensure accuracy and quality.
  3. Handle deliveries of goods to the appropriate departments, including loading and unloading carts.
  4. Maintain the loading dock and receiving areas in a secure, clean, and organized manner.
  5. Verify receiving documents against electronic purchase orders and report any discrepancies to the Purchasing management team.
Requirements
  • A flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to requests.
  • Previous experience in a similar role and environment is an asset.
  • Attention to detail and highly organized is critical to the success of this role.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
