Registered Nurse, Cardiac Services Specialist

Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Services team. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide direct patient care to patients in an acute medical unit, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions
- Document patient information and progress in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Completion of Cardiology component of Post Basic Critical Care course or equivalent experience
- Current CPR (Level C) Basic Rescuer Certificate
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
