Pacific Programming and Tech Inc., a leading software development firm, is expanding its team. We are currently seeking a seasoned quality assurance leader to lead our team of cross-functional Quality Assurance Engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of elevating product quality and a strong analytical mindset. They will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive QA strategies, collaborating with development teams, and championing the use of modern testing tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement QA strategies that align with our development processes and business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented QA team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to define quality standards and establish best practices.
  • Develop and maintain automated and manual testing frameworks, ensuring robust test coverage for all products.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze quality metrics to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements and fostering an environment that encourages feedback and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance within the software development industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks, along with experience in performance testing, security testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present ideas to senior leadership.
  • Passion for Quality: A genuine passion for software quality and user experience, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
