About the Job

A-1 Towing Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that they are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Transport Goods and Materials: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment. Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring that all parties are informed of any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Certificates and Licenses: Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) and Driver's License (Class 3 or D).
  • Work Terms: Temporary work arrangement.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
