Truck Driver

Brisk Movers Inc. is seeking a reliable and skilled Local Truck Driver to join our team. As a Local Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials within a designated area, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles) to transport goods and materials within a designated area.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate with central dispatch and relay information as necessary.
- Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to company policies and regulations.
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
- Defensive Driving Course
- First Aid Certificate
- Valid driver's licence
- Steel-toed safety boots
This is an on-the-road job, requiring flexibility and adaptability. You will be working independently, with occasional team collaboration.
