About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog IC Design Engineer to join our team at Acacia. As a key member of our Mixed Signal Design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed analog circuits for our optical communications products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, layout, measure, and productize ultra-deep sub-micron-based CMOS products
  • Lead efforts for large blocks on complex chips, mentor team members, and track deliverables
  • Participate in peer review of complex IC designs and provide solid design methodology from conception to production
  • Collaborate with packaging and hardware design teams to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met
Requirements
  • BSEE degree with 12+ years of experience or equivalent, or an MS degree with 8+ years of experience, or a PhD with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent
  • Design, simulation, and measurement of high-speed ICs in at least three areas: high-speed serial links, voltage regulators, and high-performance output drivers
  • Direct experience with electrical transceiver applications, including backplane and cable communications
  • Experience with FinFET technology and high-frequency layout
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience with Cadence (Virtuoso), Spectre, and layout validation tools
  • Post-layout extraction and EMX experience
  • Mixed-signal simulations in AMS and Matlab
