About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog IC Design Engineer to join our team at Synopsys. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative analog and mixed-signal circuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and refine analog circuits to achieve optimal power, area, and performance targets.
  • Develop and propose design and verification strategies that efficiently utilize simulator features to ensure high-quality designs.
  • Present simulation data for peer and customer review.
  • Document design features and test plans.
  • Consult on the electrical characterization of circuits within IP products.
Requirements
  • PhD with 2+ years or MSc with 5+ years of analog IC design experience.
  • In-depth familiarity with transistor-level circuit design and sound CMOS design fundamentals.
  • Detailed design experience with at least one and familiarity with several other DDR or SerDes sub-circuits.
  • Awareness of ESD issues and circuit techniques.
  • Familiarity with custom digital design and knowledge of design for reliability.
  • Knowledgeable in Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling and simulation-control/data-capture.
  • Experience with TCL, Perl, C, Python, MATLAB, or other scripting languages is desired.
