**Job Summary:**

Trial Balance Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Director of Finance and Operations to join our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing SME with multiple brands across various industry sectors.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Lead a team of transactional staff and collaborate with directors to achieve business objectives

• Provide strategic guidance on financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, and capital investments

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop recommendations to optimize financial performance

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory bodies

**Requirements:**

• Professional qualification in accounting (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience

• Proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial management and strategy

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
