About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Advisor to join our team at Phaneuf Agricultural Equipment. As a Technical Advisor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, selling preventive and curative maintenance services, and collaborating with our sales department to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to our clients
  • Propose and sell adequate preventive and curative maintenance services to our customers
  • Inspect equipment, recommend required actions, and estimate costs to ensure our clients receive the best possible service
  • Verify and determine the work to be done under warranty to ensure our clients receive the best possible service
  • Collaborate with our sales department to sell equipment and machinery to our clients
  • Open work orders for the mechanical department and plan the schedule in collaboration with the workshop supervisor
  • Provide follow-up of files and keep clients informed throughout the process
  • Occasionally work on a Saturday morning to meet the needs of our clients

Requirements:

  • DEP in technical advice in vehicle maintenance and repair, in a related field or experience deemed equivalent
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electromechanical knowledge
  • Knowledge of the agricultural environment, machinery, tractors, and related products is an asset
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Good memory and numeracy skills
  • Good knowledge of informatic tools
  • Cooperative, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude
  • Rigorous, organized, and efficient work style
  • Good communication skills
  • Courteous, attentive, and persuasive approach
  • Availability for occasional Saturday mornings
