The Role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Analyst to join our Pension Legal and Plan Administration (PLPA) team in Toronto. As a member of this dedicated team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex pension administration issues. Your expertise will be essential in identifying trends, improving content, and developing innovative solutions to enhance the OMERS experience.

Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze complex inquiries to provide accurate direction and resolution.
  • Develop creative solutions to ensure compliance with Plan and Legislative rules.
  • Manage member or potential beneficiary escalations through investigation and resolution.
  • Handle contact center escalations by gathering facts and consulting with business areas.
  • Identify process, communication, and pension content gaps to recommend improvements.
  • Report on case trends and impacts.
  • Develop clear and well-written reports for Senior Management and other audiences.
  • Support issue resolution with Pension Services leaders and stakeholders.
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal partners.
  • Contribute to the development of OMERS pension content.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant pension and/or policy experience.
  • Prior experience in pension plan administration, plan design, and current pension legislation/regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
