Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice to join our team at Go Time Energy Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty equipment, working under the supervision of experienced technicians. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
  • Attach components and adjust new farm equipment
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Perform other routine maintenance
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Level one apprenticeship training
  • Level two apprenticeship training
  • Level three apprenticeship training
  • Level four apprenticeship training
  • Level five apprenticeship training
