Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at PEI INC. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and other surfaces to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our customers and employees
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent education
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling and ability to stand for extended periods
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking and ability to lift up to 25 kg
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Initiative and ability to take direction
  • Organized and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Reliability and ability to maintain confidentiality
