Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at PEI INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our retail service establishment. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting and upholstered furniture.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
  • Clean changing rooms and showers
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Dependability

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
