Job Title: Technology Advocate

At IBM, we're seeking a passionate technology advocate to join our dynamic team at IBM TechXchange. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in fostering a thriving user group community through strategic events, empowering user group leaders, and representing the company at industry events.

About the Role:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to grow and engage our user group community, including meetups, conferences, and webinars.
  • Collaborate with user group leaders to provide resources and guidance, ensuring their success and the success of the community.
  • Partner with the User Advocacy Program Evangelist to create compelling content that showcases the success of user groups and drives excitement for upcoming events.
  • Represent IBM at industry events, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an advocacy role within technology, with a strong track record of community growth and engagement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management abilities, with a disciplined approach to achieving goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Established connections within the tech community and advocacy domain.

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions. IBM is committed to compliance with all fair employment practices regarding citizenship and immigration status.
