Job Title: Lead Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Northern NB. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for executing projects with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to ensure project requirements are met
  • Take precise measurements and calculate material needs
  • Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to specifications
  • Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings using raw materials or pre-constructed items
  • Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall, ensuring they are level and compatible
  • Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items, and install them as designated
  • Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance
  • Build scaffolding and other construction structures
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements:
  • College diploma in a related field
  • Minimum three years of experience in a lead carpenter role
  • Red Seal Carpenter Certification an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Working Conditions:

This position requires a moderate level of physical exertion and may involve working outside of normal hours to deal with emergencies.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 - $30.00 per hour and the opportunity to work for a leading company in the disaster restoration industry.
