Job Title: Lead Carpenter

We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Northern NB. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of various projects and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of carpenters to complete construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements.
  • Take measurements and calculate material needs to ensure accurate estimates.
  • Supervise the cutting, shaping, and smoothing of lumber and other materials.
  • Lay out flooring, roofing, and drywall, ensuring proper leveling and compatibility.
  • Assemble and install furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items.
  • Inspect work sites and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed.
  • Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • College diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a lead carpenter role.
  • Red Seal Carpenter Certification is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal hours as needed.
