Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team in Prince George. As a key member of our Sonography department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and related duties in collaboration with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and related duties in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized/accredited North American program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography).
  • Current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP) as required for the assigned practice area.
  • Active membership in good standing with ARDMS and/or Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS).
