We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our Cardiac Testing-ECG/Holter department at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing techniques related to Electro Cardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter and event Recorders, and pacemaker monitoring using various types of diagnostic cardiac equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ECG testing, stress testing, Holter and event Recorders, and pacemaker monitoring using various types of diagnostic cardiac equipment.
- Integrate best practice and current research evidence to support professional practice decisions and actions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, medical staff, and the interdisciplinary team using oral, written, and computer communication means.
- Organize work, set objectives, and establish priorities to manage time and resources effectively.
- Supervise responsibilities of others and collaborate across disciplines to promote cooperation and excellence in client care.
- Completion of a Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists recognized Diploma program in Cardiology Technology, plus one year's recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current practicing registration with Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist (CSCT).
