Substance Use Clinician MHSU, Masters

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Use Clinician to join our Mental Health and Substance Use Services team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments, treatment recommendations, and case management services to clients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including group therapy and counseling.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and system navigation.
- Facilitate client access to community resources and rehabilitative programs.
- Provide education and support to clients and families on mental health and substance use issues, recovery processes, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, adhering to established standards and policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of clinical protocols and service standards.
- Master's degree in a relevant social or health sciences program.
- Two years' recent experience working with clients and families affected by mental illness and substance use disorders.
- Eligibility for registration with a relevant professional association.
- Valid B.C. Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
