Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at City Pizza #8 Limited. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they are meeting the required standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
- Mentorship Programs: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Support for Youth: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
