Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Chopped Leaf. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory management
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators
- Establish and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Our kitchen and dining areas are fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high-quality food standards. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work closely with our kitchen staff, management team, and customers to ensure a positive and efficient dining experience.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service or a related field
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform other tasks as required
