Job Title: Technical Drafter

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Drafter to join our team at ASF Associates Inc. as an Engineering Design Specialist. As a key member of our drafting team, you will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, reading blueprints to determine work requirements, and supervising other drafting personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD software
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy
  • Supervise and train new drafting personnel to ensure high-quality work
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and construction specifications
  • Write technical reports and examine drawings for conformity and errors

Requirements:

  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in drafting and design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
