About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Technician to join our team at PepsiCo. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our equipment, enabling our drivers to deliver our products to customers across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with our fleet vehicles, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Respond to local road calls and coordinate service support as needed to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Utilize predictive diagnostic software to identify potential issues and prevent vehicle breakdowns.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and precision instruments.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including vehicle inspections and maintenance records.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including electronic vehicle inspection records and maintenance reports.
Requirements
  • Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certificate.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools required.
  • Commercial Vehicle Inspection certificate (MB) preferred.
  • Valid Class 1 / AZ Operators License preferred but not required.
  • Dedication to safety and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong computer and mathematical skills, with ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
