Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Food Store Operations Manager to join our team at Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, design team members, apprentices, and volunteer staff.
  • Assign Duties: Assign sales workers to various duties and ensure that they have the necessary training and resources to perform their tasks.
  • Hiring and Training: Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for them to receive training, to ensure that they meet the company's standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other problems that may impact the store's operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Benefits
  • This is a permanent position with 32-40 hours per week.
  • The work language is English.
  • $50,000 - $70,000 per year based on location and experience.
