Retail Store Operations Manager

The Macs Convenience Store is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. With a focus on excellent customer service, sales growth, and employee management, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining a positive work environment and achieving business objectives.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of staff, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, and driving sales through effective merchandising and customer engagement strategies. This individual must possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Customer Service: Foster a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales volumes and drive revenue growth.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring stock is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Employee Management: Hire, train, and arrange for training of staff, as well as authorize payments by cheque and resolve any personnel matters.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Work Setting: On-site work only, with no option for remote work.
Working Conditions:
This role requires standing for extended periods, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day. Basic security clearance is also required.
