Job Title: Convenience Store Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Macs Convenience Store is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Convenience Store Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of staff to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Manage the store's inventory, including ordering merchandise and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Authorize payments, manage cash handling, and maintain a secure and safe working environment.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyze data, and make recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Act as a role model, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture, and ensuring all staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:
  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • Permanent, full-time position.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
