We are seeking a highly skilled Chef to join our team at Alberta LTD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

About the Role

This is a permanent position with a salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced kitchen environment, supervising kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Kitchen Operations: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Scheduling: Assist in scheduling kitchen staff and helpers to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Attention to detail: A keen eye for quality and presentation.
  • Team player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Client focus: Strong customer service skills to provide excellent dining experiences.
