Job Description:
We seek an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support children's communication and language development in our early childhood settings. As a key member of our team, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language delays or disorders, develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language goals, and provide evidence-based therapy to enhance receptive/expressive language, articulation, phonology, and social-pragmatic skills. You will use play-based, child-centered approaches to engage young learners, stay informed on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology, and provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to parents, preschool teachers, and FB Education Services staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university, experience in pediatric speech and language assessment and treatment, and the ability to mentor therapy assistants and work collaboratively. Additionally, you must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and maintain emotional control under stress. A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance with $2,000,000 liability are also required. Familiarity with PUF contracts and experience within Alberta Education are assets.
