About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Piller's Fine Foods. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Use advanced techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, physical and chemical separation techniques, and microscopy to analyze samples.
  • Assist in setting up and conducting chemical experiments to develop and validate new methods.
  • Compile and maintain accurate records for analytical studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Assist in developing and implementing standards, health and safety measures, and quality control procedures.
  • Design and fabricate experimental apparatus to support quality control and research initiatives.
  • Prepare solutions, reagents, and sample formulations as required.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
