Job Summary:

  • As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on supervision of assigned Inspectors
  • Representing the company in a professional image at all times
  • Ensuring a complete understanding of the CVP package
  • Having a general understanding of Vantage
  • Operating Vantage scanners with a full understanding
  • Setting up work cells and practicing 5S
  • Understanding ergonomics as it relates to setup and workflow
  • Having a working knowledge of relative ISO procedures
  • Performing all other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance for local travel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Flexibility to meet customer service demands
  • Familiarity with all ISO standards
  • Grade 12 diploma or GED, Post-secondary education preferred
  • No criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted
  • Successful completion of company medical
  • Local vehicle travel is required

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Preparing work instructions
  • Training and hands-on training of Inspectors for respective sorts
  • Gathering and reviewing data in Vantage
  • Authorizing daily time sheets for assigned Inspectors
  • Completing Inspector Competency reviews
  • Providing input into Inspector Performance Appraisals
  • Participating in orientation and training requirements for Inspectors
  • Liaising with Company Customer Representative for relevant Customers
  • Communicating with Customers on-site and off-site
