About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at Forbes Bros. Group of Companies. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to support our Project Management team in Ontario.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager and Coordinators with organizing resources, mobilizing the workforce, and ensuring project compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organizational Support: Assist the Project Manager and Coordinators with scheduling meetings, recording decisions, breaking down projects into manageable tasks, and setting timeframes and goals.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create, update, and maintain workflows, prepare documentation for internal teams and stakeholders, and conduct new hire orientations as needed.
  • Resource Management: Order approved resources, including equipment, office supplies, and software, and retrieve necessary information to report to the Project Coordinator and Project Manager.
  • Financial Management: Track project expenses, predict future costs, and monitor project progress to address potential issues.
  • Travel and Coordination: Travel to various project sites in Ontario as required and act as the point of contact for all participants.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience as a project administrator in construction.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid Driver's license, acceptable drivers abstract, willing to travel up to 30% of the time, and flexible to work extended hours and weekends if required.
