Job Summary

GreenGold Construction Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors' activities, planning and organizing daily operations, and preparing construction project budget estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Plan and organize daily operations to maximize productivity
  • Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates to stakeholders
  • Select trade subcontractors based on their expertise and availability
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Read blueprint, schemas, and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Plan and manage budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness
  • Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure high-quality work
  • Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential risks
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform decision-making
  • Prepare reports to stakeholders on project progress and budget

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction project coordination or a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
