Fire Protection Systems Specialist

Viking Fire Protection Inc is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Systems Specialist to join our team.
About the RoleThis permanent position, located in Cambridge, ON, offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Responsibilities- Verify, program, service, and inspect fire alarm systems according to standards and codes.
- Perform upgrades, repairs, additions, or improvements to systems following inspection.
- Prepare inspection, verification, and deficiencies reports in a timely manner.
- Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis.
- CFAA certification required.
- 5 years of relevant experience in service and inspection of fire protection systems.
- Experience in programming fire alarm panels is an asset.
- Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S524, S536, and S537 is necessary.
- Knowledge of Notifier products is also an asset.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work well independently essential.
