Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Clerk Cashier to join our dynamic team at the Lacombe Food Store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
- Bag and assist with carrying out purchases, ensuring customer satisfaction and convenience.
- Complete cash-up procedures and maintain accurate records of sales and transactions.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining merchandise displays, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Requirements:
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
- Team player with the ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with some heavy lifting required.
- Applicants must be over 14 years old, with a valid Social Insurance Number.
