Project Overview:

Our client is a leading institutional investor seeking a skilled Senior Python Developer with expertise in AWS technologies to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions that meet the client's technology requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and operations staff to understand requirements and design software solutions.
  • Develop scalable and efficient solutions using AWS technologies, such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, Glue, EMR, and EC2.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to team members through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Python development in an enterprise environment, covering the entire development life cycle.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to manage client expectations.
  • Technical skills in AWS technologies, including certification in areas such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, Glue, EMR, and EC2.
  • Strong technical skills in Pandas, ETL, Data Engineering, and SQL.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical skills in Java.
  • Capital Markets domain experience.
