Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join our team as a highly skilled Field Service Technician in Edmonton. As part of this position, you will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough site evaluations to identify potential safety hazards and develop effective solutions.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic troubleshooting to determine the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
  • Document findings and provide recommendations to customers during regular visits.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with customers to discuss repair and safety-related issues, providing expert advice to improve their safety and productivity.
Requirements
  • An Associate degree in industrial or electrical/mechanical technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field, depending on provincial legislative requirements and CSA standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure includes base pay, bonuses, and benefits, which may vary based on individual performance and company policies.
