Project Manager

Innovative Drilling, a leading Construction Company within the Municipal Group of Companies, is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to drive the success of our geotechnical projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in planning, executing, and delivering projects with a focus on safety, budget, and schedule.
- Define project requirements and scope, acquire project resources, and support team members.
- Ensure efficient delivery of project requirements, effective quality control, and clear communication of expectations.
- Support team leads in preparing schedules, job hand-off of awarded work, and assisting with subcontractor management.
- Coordinate site activities and assist in tasks with the project manager and superintendent.
- Develop job-specific work packs to aid in project team execution of work.
- Assist with day-to-day tasks in the office and field, and support daily site-level activities as required.
- Implement process improvement initiatives and support change management as projects progress.
- Strong understanding of reading and interpreting project drawings and specifications.
- University degree in Civil/Mining Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Experience in Heavy Civil Construction, drilling, geotechnical, or related fields.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- AutoCAD experience and strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to travel throughout the Maritimes to support various projects.

Field work and company site visits will require the use of minimum PPE (Hardhat, Steel Toe Boots, reflective vest, etc.). Other PPE might also be necessary and will be driven by the environment of the work sites (specialized PPE, Gas monitors, Fall Arrest and Breathing Apparatus).
