Controller - Corporate Accounting

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team at The 401 Group of Companies. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading and managing all corporate accounting functions, including internal and external financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, direct, and manage all corporate accounting functions, including financial reporting and analysis.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the corporate accounting team, including accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, internal controls, internal audit, and budgeting.
- Timely reporting of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Ensure accurate and balanced bank reconciliations and accruals.
- Prepare financial budgets with the assistance of senior management.
- Coordinate the year-end audit process and supporting documents.
- Collaborate with the VP of Finance, CFO, and external auditors to ensure proper financial reporting.
- Post-secondary education in business or accounting, with a CPA, CGA, CMA, or CA designation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate accounting within a dealership environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
