Job Summary

The 401 Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing all corporate accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the corporate accounting team, including accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, internal controls, internal audit, and budgeting.
  • Timely reporting of Financial Statements of the operation: monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Ensure Bank Reconciliation and accruals are balanced and reported accurately.
  • Prepare the Financial Budgets for the company, with the assistance of the Senior Management team.
  • Set up the Year End audit process and supporting documents.
  • Work directly with the VP of Finance, CFO's and our external auditors to ensure proper reporting of the financial status of the Group for our year-end.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary education in business or accounting - CPA, CGA, CMA or CA.
  • Years of experience in corporate accounting within a dealership environment.
  • PBS experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-up and accuracy coupled with good analytical skills as well as solid business acumen.
  • Strong working knowledge of computer accounting systems.
  • Advanced skills using MS Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have a valid G driver's license and an acceptable driver's abstract.
